Evening movies and haircuts in Kampira, both income generating activities! The community is really making the most of the solar charger.

The solar charger was installed in Kampira! It is functioning well and a village committee has been trained to operate the system to charge electrical devices for the community. Soon the committee will receive record-keeping training, and community members will receive rechargeable LED lanterns for home use. We will track how the village uses proceeds from the charger to save money (in a bank account) for local development projects.
